From Being Homeless to Living A Dream

Prince Shun is a multi-talented American Rapper and up and coming artist who has taken the world by storm.  Before he embarked on his music career, Prince Shun was homeless.  Through hard work and having faith in God he overcame that obstacle, and now his music can be heard around the country. With his undeniable fan base on social media, he has accumulated about a million views on YouTube with his music video Prince Shun-Sometimes.  At only 23 years old he has worked with major artists like Kirko bangz and T-rell. Both are featured on his new EP release. Through his debut album, he will fill a void in the hip-hop industry. Fans around the world have come to his live performances and appearances.  The numbers don’t lie on social media of how he is impacting the hip-hop world through his music.  His lyrics shows that he is passionate about his craft and that he is not like any other hip-hop artist in the industry. Prince Shun is also a songwriter and has ghostwritten songs for artists and has worked with many major record companies such as Cashmoney Recording artists, IMG Universal Records, Atlantic Records and various other franchises.  He released his debut single Lit Shit in 2015 and released his second EP Pay Up in 2016 which both created a lot of noise in the hip-hop world.  Prince Shun creates a new sound in the hip-hop industry that will change the way hip-hop is perceived by others.

Not only is Prince Shun making a big impact in the hip-hop music industry, but he also gives back to his community and helps the less fortunate. He helps make places like the projects in Chicago a better place by running food drives, working with WGCI radio station and other various community projects. He knows firsthand the dangers and the struggles that many young people and families face living in the projects on Chicago’s west side, so he wanted to make a difference in his community.  He is a living testimony of what hard work and dedication can give you in life.  His work ethic and determination to succeed in high school made him a crowd-pleasing favorite when he performed at talent shows. His passion for his community is what makes him a household name in the hip-hop industry.  Not everyone knows the real value of giving back to your community, and that’s what makes Prince Shun a one of a kind artist.

Prince Shun’s favorite quote is “Failure is not an option,” and he shows that through his dreams that are coming true.  He has won many awards and talent shows all the way to mainstream. He has recorded songs with well-known artists, and his fan base is getting bigger every day.  Prince Shun will continue to make a difference in the hip-hop industry by giving back to the community, creating music that people will enjoy and by living the dream that God gave him.
